Sewing Volunteers needed in Atlanta

The AIDS Memorial Quilt is in need of volunteers to assist with hand and machine sewing, experience not needed.

Training is provided by Gert, the Quilt's Production Manager, Tuesday thru Friday from Noon to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday by prior arrangement.

Following a few shifts with Gert's supervision, a sewer is welcome at the Quilt offices anytime Monday 9am to 4pm, Tuesday thru Friday 9am to 8pm, and on pre-arranged weekend shifts. Gert does ask that potential sewers be able to commit to no less than one four hour shift per week.
